Deep River Waterpark Team Opportunities

All employees are required to successfully complete Deep River Waterpark customer service classes.  Each department has standards of professionalism that are required to be maintained.  Deep River Waterpark is particularly interested in hiring personable and energetic individuals. If you want to have a summer of fun while you earn income you need to give the award winning Deep River Waterpark serious consideration.

Please note before starting...

All applicants must be at least 15 years of age
All applicants for the Water Safety Team must be at least 16 years of age.

Food Service Team

A major part of the Deep River Waterpark experience is fast, quality food service. The food service team is one of our largest departments.  Duties include the preparation and serving of a wide variety of culinary delights to our many guests.  This team also hosts numerous catered events to area corporations and organizations.  Food service staff must successfully complete the Deep River sanitation and food services training.

Water Safety Team

The Water Safety team’s responsibility is to insure the safe operation of Deep River Waterpark’s rides and attractions. 

Lifeguard applicants must complete the American Red Cross Certified Lifeguard Training conducted by Deep River Waterpark. Applicants must meet the following prerequisites: be at least 16 years old, able to swim 300 yards using front crawl and breast stroke, and be able to recover a 10 lb. brick from a depth of 7 - 10 feet and swim a distance of 20 yards with the brick.

Maintenance Team

Team members are responsible for maintaining Deep River Waterpark’s trademark appearance and cleanliness. Maintenance staff is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the pools, landscaping, buildings, bathrooms, and attractions.  Maintenance staff is required to successfully complete the Deep River Waterpark maintenance training program.

Guest Services Team

Team members work at the front gate greeting guests, taking tickets and answering customer questions. Guest services staff must be very outgoing and customer friendly. Team members are required to successfully complete the Deep River Waterpark guest relations program.

Merchandise Team

Team members work in the U.S. 30 Surf Shop, rental locations and at Water Wars.  All merchandise personnel must successfully complete the Deep River Waterpark cashier training classes and are required to maintain established performance levels.

Admissions Team

Admissions clerks are some of the first staff that guests meet.  Personable, friendly, customer service oriented people are a must for these positions.  All cashiers must successfully complete the Deep River Waterpark cashier training classes and are required to maintain established performance levels.

Deep River Waterpark is a seasonal operation which operates nights, weekends, and holidays. As a perspective employee, we would require that you be available to work these shifts. Deep River Waterpark management will make every effort to work with you on your scheduling needs, but you will be required to work the schedule that is ultimately posted.
